This is my sandbox, where I toy around with different ideas, mainly involving jQuery, a powerful and effective JavaScript framework. You will find small samples of different ideas and scripts that accomplish various tasks. Select any of the links below to try out the new toys I have worked on. It is likely that you will see one or more of these little toys in your site in the future. For now I have a simple list of toys I’m working on, but hopefully I will get them up soon!

jQuery Autotab Plugin

Every single auto-tabbing script that I have encountered sucks for the same reason: the people who made it did not make it smart. The script lacks intuitiveness and logical thinking in how it reacts to a user and their keystrokes. See why mine shines above the rest that you will find on the web, at least I think it does.

Collapsible Menu

A simple, yet attractive sliding menu. With jQuery, the menu can fade, slide, grow and simply appear, which is where the true beauty of this script lies.

Rotating Banner

Rotating banners are commonly used throughout the web and can have an unlimited variation to their layout and design. My example illustrates how you can easily and effectively have animation like capabilities without having to incorporate Flash. A Flash based solution does offer other benefits that jQuery, or JavaScript for that matter, cannot compare to without usually suffering some kind of a performance hit.

Chat using Node.js

A proof of concept that a friend and I created in getting our feet wet with Node.js. It was incredibly easy to setup and develop.

Windows 8 App: Memory Match Tiles

My first Windows 8 app! A simple memory match game in the spirit of the Windows 8 user interface.
