Lost’s Man in Black’s Name Finally Revealed

The elusive and mysterious Man in Black, played by Titus Welliver and Terry O’Quinn, was never given a name on Lost, a frustration many viewers shared. In the back story episode Across the Sea, where we first meet Jacob and his twin brother, we hear Jacob’s name spoken many times, but never once was his brother’s name mentioned. In fact he was always referred to as “your brother.” Finally, with the Lost Encyclopedia on the verge of release, a snapshot was taken and his name is finally revealed. All the hoopla built up for this for this grand revealing moment. His name is… Samuel. That’s all folks!
