Education

School Duration Degree
John Ehret High School 08/1997 – 05/2001 General Studies
Cullier Career Center 08/2000 – 05/2001 Computer Repair I
Delgado Community College 08/2001 – 05/2002 None

My education experience ends there. I stopped going to college after I got married in 2002, so naturally I tell people that it was the best mistake I ever made. I have no formal education in software development and learned on my own and on the job as time went on. While I am not against going back to school to get a Computer Science degree, I thoroughly enjoy being out of school for the last years.

Gaming

Starting from a very young to my relatively old age, I have enjoyed gaming. I like to play a variety of games, but since it can be a very expensive hobby, I do not indulge my desires of playing all of the ones I want (I wait to find a great deal). My gaming heart belongs to Team Fortress 2, probably the most fun multi-player game ever created. There I take on my beloved persona of a black Scottish cyclops with the handle of <CC>< Amazing Wrench. I’m a member of the Christian Crew, but do not frequently play on their TF2 servers as I’m very into King of the Hill and Payload maps, which they rarely use. On occasion I divert my gaming attention to my Xbox 360 whenever I happen upon a game for cheap or borrow one from my neighbor, but lately it has been used more for watching movies.

Forums

I frequent Neowin.net to discuss and debate politics, Christianity, TV shows, video games, programming or helping someone out when I get a chance. It’s a place where you can get a load of help from some great people. Unfortunately, it also has quite a few sour apples, so to speak, that take joy in mocking my faith. I try my best to not take it personally because Jesus was beaten and bruised and yet still asked God to forgive his tormentors, so what’s a little mockery in comparison?
