About Me

Profile for Mathachew at Stack Overflow, Q&A for professional and enthusiast programmers

Hello, hallo, hola, and bonjour! My name is Matthew Miller and welcome to my site. I love to program, read lots of books, watch movies and play games, but my passion is my faith and family. I am a Front End Developer for MarkedUp, Inc. and freelance with bfac, LLC and bfac’s subsidiary sites. If you would like to contact me for a chat or for some help, feel free to. I may not respond right away, but I have good intentions to do so!

Where I’ve Been

Nearly all of my work experience has consisted of working with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, with varying degrees of use with C#, PHP, MySQL, MSSQL, Apache and IIS, depending on the job, so other languages/technologies are listed.

What I’ve Done

Education

School Duration Degree
John Ehret High School 08/1997 – 05/2001 General Studies
Cullier Career Center 08/2000 – 05/2001 Computer Repair I
Delgado Community College 08/2001 – 05/2002 None

My education experience ends there. I stopped going to college after I got married in 2002, so naturally I tell people that it was the best mistake I ever made. I have no formal education in software development and learned on my own and on the job. While I am not against going back to school to get a Computer Science degree, I thoroughly enjoy being out of school for the last 12 years.
